Belle De Jour Box

Today, I was so delighted to receive my first ever BDJ (Belle De Jour) Beauty Box. I subscribed last March, but since the April Box was already out of stock, I was able to purchase the May Box.
I was so excited about this month's box because I have seen previous boxes of BDJ. And based on what has already been reviewed, and unboxed, BDJ Boxes were known to give more FULL SIZE products. And that's amazing!
I got the box for Php 480 only and payed through my Credit Card. Now, I believed they have raised their price to Php 580. Which is no big deal for me, I still get more value than what I paid for. And I saved a lot. We'll see that later.
As you see, different boxes were given out depending on the profile of each subscriber. So my box would reflect the kind of skin profile that I have.
Let's begin.
WOW!!!
For a medium sized box, they sure know how to maximize space.
And when I say MAXIMIZE, I mean MAXIMIZE. Look how many products were inside!!! I can't even imagine how they were able to fit everything. I can't put them back myself!
The box was delivered at the office, and I can't help to open it up as soon as it was delivered to my table. I loved it! I got 8 full-sized items out of 14. NOT BAD. Not bad at all.

Sample perfumes from Ralph Lauren & YSL. It's funny how some boxes was packed with the #1 but without Opium (by Yves Saint Laurent). I already got my #1 Ralph Lauren from Glamourbox. So, I have already tried that scent. And I love that these scents were all NEW to me. :) I love experimenting. And I can't wait to try all of them!

I have been a fan of Garnier Eye Roll-Ons. I have the brightening eye serum and the BB eye cream. I have not really tried the Pure Active Roll On and this is worth a try. Garnier has awesome skin products. This is also my first time to use their scrubs and creams. I will post on my 7-Day Challenge of Freshness and Brightness by BDJ for Garnier. :) I have already used them tonight and will be posting updates soon!

Maybelline is one of my favorites when it comes to Eye Color, Mascara and Lip Balm. And BDJ just knew what I wanted. I was very happy of the items I received from Maybelline though I'm not much of a fan of their Foundation. But I'll give it a try. Their Lipstick was the PERFECT color for me in 235.
For the Lip Balm, since it is also colored, I swapped it with a friend who also subscribed to the BDJ Box. She got Rose Addict and I got Pink Lolita. But since she's fair skinned so the pink will really fit her.
I have already used this mascara and I am so excited to use the eye shadow. Perfect for the smokey eyes.
Gift Cards
And BDJ was not yet done. After all of those products they gave gift cards as well. They gave out gift cards for the Ralph Lauren Perfumes. Less Php 1,000 for every purchase of Big Pony Women 100ml in Rustan's Department Stores. :) Not bad!
Verdict
I love the box! It was so amazing and full of FULL-SIZED items which I love dearly. To sum it all up, I got an estimate cost of Php 2,408.33 for the whole box. Of which costs me just Php 480. Technically I saved Php 1,928.33 for this purchase. The breakeven item for this box is the Maybelline EyeStudio LuminEyes which costs Php 599.
I am so happy and satisfied!
