Dress On Glossy Rouge
Let me share to you my personal review on the Esprique Precious Dress On Glossy Rouge in PK 881. This is a peach / coral tint lip gloss. This is inclulded in my August 2013 Giveaway. ;)
A liquid rouge compound with Plump up Paste to create a plump coating over the lips; giving a glossy silky finish without vertical creases even when applied sparingly.
I love how it has tiny sparkles that are just perfect to have that awesome glow. Not too glittery for an everyday look. Smooth Light Oil works to allow for a smooth application and a light wear.
I also love how the packaging was designed. On it's lid are like little diamonds embedded on the case.
Adopted a dual end applicator tip; a spatula side for solid application and a flocky tip side for defining contours.
Here's a lip swatch for you. I wore nothing before applying it on my lips. These are samples of bare Lip Gloss.
VERDICT
PROS:
- Smooth to apply
- Doesn't have any weird smell. Fragrance Free.
- It applies really well.
- Thick consistency unlike some glosses that I've tried.. they're just too oily. But not this one.
- The two sided tip gives option of a solid application or soft contours.
- The sparkles are bearable.
- Lasts long.
- Gives your lip a laminated look.
CONS:
- If you apply too much, it can get too tacky. So just appy just "enough".
