Lasting Finish Lipstick
Review
I got another purchase from Rimmel London and it is their Lasting Finish Lipstick in two shades: Heather Shimmer (066) and Metallic Seduction (126). Both of these colors are sheer and with a little glitter. I am not much of a fan of shimmer lippies, but since I have tried Rimmel's quality, I gave this one a try.
The two colors are both on the darker shade of brown with a metallic touch. I think 066 can be a good day-time lipstick while the 126 is more of the night-time color. Or if you want to go bold for a day look, this one can also be a good choice.
The packaging is really nice, I love the crown label on top. The colors of the lippies are quite deceiving on the package, it seems really dark but when used, it's not dark at all.
It is very metallic but not very much "glittery". The problem with glittery lippies is they are very difficult to remove, the glitter STAYS even if you use make-up remover. So you really need to rub it well.
But with this one, it does not have those big sized glitters. It's almost powdered size and it removes easily with wipes. Not much of a problem. As I have told you, Rimmel makes good quality lipsticks.

What I loved about this two colors is that their mostly in the "brown" shade of colors. Though they are metallic, they are reall good in terms of pigmentation and consistency. They were very smooth to apply. The product also promises 8 hours wear with this lippies.
066 - Heather Shimmer
TIP: To make these colors pop, I first applied foundation / lip primer on my lips. Since it is mettalic, it may be difficult at first to transfer color from the stick to your lips. This happens when your lips are moist. So primer is a good trick for your lippies.
126 - Metallic Seduction
VERDICT
I love Rimmel London whether it's matte or metallic / sheer.
PROS:
- Consistency. They are very smooth and easy to apply.
- Pigmented on first application.
- For better results you can use a lip brush and use a lip primer before applying a metallic color like these two.
- I love the packaging.
- No weird smell.
- Affordable. It's not cheap but it's affordable. The price may range from Php 250 ~ Php 350 depending on the seller if you're here in the Philippines.(Around $ 5.50) -- Check out at ULTA for something similar to this.
CONS:

- The color on the packaging is not close on the swatch. So you really need to check it out the color on an actual lip first. (Search on the internet for more reference before buying).
- May not last as promised, but the color lasts long enough... 4 hours perhaps. After eating / drinking make sure you re-apply them.
